I have read every book in this series and I so wanted to like this one. Sadly, I found so many issues in it I barely enjoyed it.~SPOILER ALERT~
So we're back to Steve sharing his husband with everyone. All the men jizzing all over our poor Mark. Which, come on, 15 books into this series and Mark is NOT getting better. His friends enable him and he's still popping valium.
Alex is filming in Italy and Billy's not being a faithful man. I am one of those men that is monogamous, so reading books like these is like my fantasy getaway. Sadly, my trip has ended as this was just too much for me. The only two men I actually respect are Micky and jeff. Well, and Adam. The poor guy got his heart busted in this one and if I were Adam, I'd have beat the s*** out of Jack.
I get that 15 books in and the author has to keep things fresh, but this isn't fresh. These are the same problems compounded and added with more. I'm supposed to feel bad for Mark, but I just can't get there. The man is an adult and needs to get some backbone and stand up for himself, Stop being used as a sex toy and finally cry enough is enough.
I know I'll pick up the next book, I love GA, but I just can't get behind this one.

while I agree Mark needs to get a back bone and say ENOUGH, that is NOT his character GA has
established. And unfortunately, there are real people out in the "real" world who are exactly like him.
What you seem to miss is his loving heart, his kind, generous, giving heart that just wants to make other
people happy - not himself. If you are reading just for the sake of it you will not be satisfied with
anything. Reading what the writers put out there is an escape into an "unreal" "fantasy" world. Sure,
there are going to be things we don't like reading about - i.e. billy and marks "interlude" (and yes, it
pissedme off billy didn't stop) but remember it's fantasy. GA had a hidden message this is book that I
totally missed and reasons why she wrote it this way. Do I like reading about gay children being put out
into the cold because their family's don't accept them being gay? No, but i read about it and their
happy endings because the happy ending is the fantasy. There are many times I wanted to shout to
Mark to Grow Up! And, that is a sign that the book is doing what it's suppose to do. It infuriates me
Mark gets used so much, and that is what the book is suppose to do. No one is holding guns to our
heads making us buy books and making us read them. There are some out there that are truly
GARBAGE. If we could write our own books we would be and not reading someone elses writing. I
thought the book was a good ending to the series - sure I wanted more, but if you read GA's MEN
HAVING SEX WITH MEN (IN BOOKS), i can kind of understand why it ended that way and am
looking forward to hearing more from Mark and the gang, per her blog of June 11, no matter how it
makes me feel, or the writing errors (is anyone perfect?) - i'll still read about one of my favorite
characters because he is sweet in that "just want to pinch his cheeks and pat is head" kind of way. He
is still a child in a grown mans body and there are many real men out there just like that.
GA Hauser, the Queen of the M/M erotic romance genre has outdone herself in this 15th book in the Action Series. This wonderful book is bigger, more complex and full of the most stimulating erotic scenes so far in her Action Series and possibly in all 100 books she has published. The seeds of this plot began in her previous book in this series when Billy, Alex's husband and a captain in the LAPD and Steve, Mark's husband and previously also a cop in the LAPD, visit the star of a movie which Alex is scheduled to co-star in and which is being filmed in Rome, Italy. They warn him to keep away from Alex sexually but this visit so enrages the star that he threatens to get Alex fired from the movie and Mark has to get things back on track for Alex by submitting himself sexually to the enraged star. This becomes the seed that starts a chain reaction in this book in which 5 of the 6 primary characters other than Adam indulge in sex with one another, every one of these couplings being totally inappropriate, but brought about because of long repressed desires and anger and revenge. This chain of events culminates in a situation so dire that this series could have terminated. Happily before the book ends, all the issues are resolved.
Each book in this series has been delightful and very sexually hot, but this incredible book truly exceeds them all. It is a non-stop and intense story that grabs you from the start and makes it nearly impossible to put down until it ends. It also becomes even more delightful by bringing in many of the additional characters we have come to know and love, especially Josh and Tanner, the lifeguards, Mickey and Jeff, the cops who also have a substantial sub plot throughout this book, and Keith and Carl, fellow actors and friends of Alex, Mark and Steve.
This incredibly compelling story is among the best ones by any author in this genre and make it obvious why I refer to her as the Queen of the genre. As an aside, if you do not like M/M erotica or are otherwise prudish, don't read this book or any other erotic books. For the rest of us, not reading this book will deprive you of the extraordinary and stimulating experiences you do not want to miss. So get it, read it and allow yourselves to once again love all of the characters who live in the engaging alternate universe that GA has created.
